Senior UI/UX Designer

About the role

We're hiring a senior designer to lead end-to-end product design across two or three client engagements at a time. You'll partner directly with founders, product managers, and engineers to research, design, and ship interfaces that customers actually want to use.

What you'll do

• Lead the design process from research and discovery through final UI
• Build and maintain scalable design systems in Figma
• Conduct user research, usability testing, and synthesize findings into action
• Pair with engineers during build to ensure design intent ships intact
• Mentor junior designers and review their work constructively
• Present design rationale clearly to clients and stakeholders

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of product design experience with a strong portfolio
• Mastery of Figma including auto-layout, components, and variables
• Experience designing for both web and mobile platforms
• Strong systems thinking — you build for scale, not screens
• Comfortable working directly with engineers and writing tickets
• Excellent written communication and presentation skills

Nice to have

• Motion design or prototyping experience (Principle, Rive, Framer)
• Background in branding or visual identity
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and the limits of the medium
• Experience designing complex data-heavy interfaces
