Senior Full Stack Developer (Node.js)

We're looking for a senior full stack engineer whose home ground is Node.js and TypeScript, and who is just as comfortable shipping the React or Next.js front end that sits on top. You'll take features from the first scoping call to the production deploy, make the architecture calls on the projects you lead, and help the rest of the team raise their bar through reviews and pairing.

1. 01Design and build REST and GraphQL APIs in Node.js and TypeScript
2. 02Ship the matching front ends in React and Next.js, from data fetching to accessible UI
3. 03Model data in PostgreSQL or MongoDB with sensible indexes, migrations and access patterns
4. 04Set up and maintain CI/CD, containers and cloud deployments on AWS
5. 05Review code, pair with mid-level engineers and write down the decisions that matter
6. 06Join client calls to scope work, estimate honestly and explain trade-offs

• 5+ years of professional full stack development, with at least 3 years of Node.js in production
• Strong TypeScript and modern JavaScript fundamentals
• Production experience with React, ideally Next.js with the App Router
• Solid relational database skills (PostgreSQL preferred) and working knowledge of MongoDB or Redis
• Experience deploying and running services on AWS (or a similar cloud) with Docker
• Habit of writing tests: unit, integration and end-to-end where it counts
• Clear written English; much of our collaboration is async

• Event-driven systems and background jobs (BullMQ, Kafka or similar)
• Experience leading a small team or a client engagement
• Payments, healthcare or e-commerce domain experience
• Some React Native exposure
